Every time I watch it, I get choked up

I am sitting in the living room with the laptop on my lap and am watching "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". I own the DVD and it has recently been on the premium cable channels. We went to see the movie in the theater when it first came out. I read the book a few times years ago.

Every time I see this movie, I get choked up over the parallels to Christ and the love demonstrated by the character Aslan. I also enjoy the family interaction in the movie. I always feel a strong tug on my heart about fighting for what is just and righteous and against the forces of evil when I see this movie.

Few movies actually move me to being a bit emotional. This is one, and Mr. Holland's Opus is another. For those who have not seen "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", I do highly recommend it.

Hope they put some more of CS Lewis' works on film.

I read online on IMDB that all seven books from "The Chronicles of Narnia" have been optioned for film. Prince Caspian is in pre-production right now.
