Want to read something stupid?

I ran across this a bit ago on someon'e personal web site. It is a countdown clock to the next Presidential Innauguration. It ticks down the years, months, days, and hours. The caption is "Countdown to George W. Bush's last day in the White House and the restoration of legitimacy, honesty, integrity, morality and justice in Washington." Yeah, right. Like ANY Demorcrat (or Republican for that matter) will restore any of that. And, like Bush is anywhere near as bad in the ideas of legitimacy, integrity, morality, or justice as his predecessor. Does anyone REALLY believe that only the office of President has the power over honesty, integrity, morality, and justice in Washington D.C.? Try adding the other 535 voting members of Congress in addition to the 9 Supreme Court Justices and the rest of the federal judiciary. As long as we keep electing the same sorts of people (who in turn appoint or approve others, too), we will have little of the aforementioned virtues.

This bonehead's site is here.
