Anyway, here is one topic I feel like including in a post. WHY do we not have things like this here in Selma? Why are the local TV and radio stations, newspaper(s), civic groups, and the like not putting on a forum or debate for candidates for mayor and council? At least there was something in Benson for mayor.

What makes people put up with the status quo? Americans are increasingly lazy. I used to not be able to imagine how an anti-Christ could come to rule the world, but you know what? It's no longer a mystery. Citizens sit and twiddle their thumbs while those who have taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, trample on it. Calgon....take me away!
Incumbant creeps have nothing to gain by debating and sadly their fat cat butts will probably remain with impunity!
